No. Keratin Treatments are not permanent straighteners. Unlike chemical relaxers or permanent straightening, keratin works to smooth, strengthen, and reduce frizz, whilel still allowin your naturla texture (waves, curls, or body) to remain. Over time, keratin gradually wears off as hair grows and is washed. This makes it a healthier, lower-risk option for clients who want smoother, more manageable hair without compromising integrity.

Will I lose my curls or natural texture?

No. Unless that is your goal. This keratin treatment is customizable. It reduces frizz and enhances manageability while allowing your natural curl or wave pattern to remain soft and defined.

Results typically last leveral weeks to a few months, depending on hair tpe, lifestyle, and home care. Using recommended products and scheduling maintenance treatments helps extedn longevity.

Can I color my hair if i get Keratin?

Yes. Keratin treatments often improve color vibrancy, shine, and improve color longevity, but timing matters.

 For best results: Color -> wait 7 - 14 days -> Keratin Treatment. This sequence helps lock in shine and smoothness while maintaining folor integrity. In some cases, Keratin may be scheduled first depending on hair condition, and this will be assessed during your consultation.

Can I Relax my hair and still get a Keratin Treatment?

Yes - with caution and professional guidance. If you are committed to maintaining a relaxer, a Keratin Treatment can be a supportive service when timed correctly. General recommendation: Wait 2-4 weeks after a relaxer before receiving a Keratin Treatment. Hair must be in stable condition before adding another service.
